The succesfull japanese [norteamerican by birth] singer Utada Hikaru returns again to the US music industry with her second album in english This is the one; her first attempt in the US was in 2004 with Exodus, that wasn't very successful because the lack of publicity by her recording label. This time she returns with her first single Come Back to Me that is actually been promoted in radio stations, some appearances in TV and fan meeting in various type of malls.

I like a lot Utada Hikaru japanese material and her voice but I have a conflict with her US proyects because she changes a lot from her personal image to the type of songs of the albums. In Exodus I felt it very experimental, more electronic orientation [yeahh perfect for dancing in a club but I like more dance-pop songs] and I like a few songs for example You Make Me Want to Be A Man. In Come Back to Me it's more mainstream, the lyrics are better and I like more songs, for example Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence -FYI, Apple And Cinnamon, Dirty Desire and Me Muero. The problem is that maybe she missed some more dinamic songs, some of the tracks sounds repetitive [the rythm], and I think she lacked of one or two catchy songs, but NEVER as Easy Breezy.

Still I recomend a lot this album and I really hope that when the CD is physically realesed in May, it will be successful jajaja enough to been realesed in Mexico *O*

Utada on The Saturday Early Show March singing Come Back to Me and Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence -FYI

En esta ocasión subiré uno de los álbums que estaba esperando desde hace meses. Estoy hablando de Wish, el segundo álbum de Yuna Ito. Para empezar este álbum contiene los singles que sacó anteriormente: I'm Here, Mahaloha (con Micro), Urban Mermaid, A World to Believe In (con Celine Dion) además de la canción Colorful que sacó en el single de Urban Mermaid y su cover de My Heart Will Go On. Las demás canciones son variadas y me gustaron mucho más que las canciones nuevas de su anterior álbum Heart. Aun así no obtuvo el mismo número de ventas que Heart (#1er lugar) y se quedó en el #3 lugar.
